# rename filename with digits

Hy,

i want to rename each mp3 of my serie from 001 to 200. How can i configure mp3tag to put this pattern for file renaming :

001  
002  
003  
...  
010  
011  
...  
100  
...

Load all the files that should the new number into MP3tag,  
select all these files,  
Use the numbering assistant and set the option "Reset for every folder"  
Also tick "leading zeros".  
And the numbering assistant will number all your files from 1 to 200 if you have selected 200 files.

Then you may use the converter "Tag - Filename" with a mask like this:  
$num(%track%,3) - %artist% \_ %title%

As this procedure spoils the original file contents I would use it only on copies of the original files.
