# Rename Title to Corresponding File name without the File Type

Hello-
How do I change a folder of Files to have the Title tag be the same as the file name without the . and the file type? For example If the File Name is XYZ.mp3 how do I make the title XYZ
I wish to do this for a folder full of files. Thanks for any help.

Use the Converter (ALT-2) and type %title% as Formatstring.
As soon as this Formastring matches the syntax of your filename you can press the OK-Button.
