# Replace "and" with & without affecting other words that contain "and"

Hi all,

Hope you are well.

Just wondered how to turn "and" (in filename and Artist field) to the ampersand without affecting other words that contain "and" (ie, band).

Include the the white space before and after (" and ", " & ").

Are you sure that you want to change artist names like  
Benny Goodman **and** His Orchestra  
Tom Petty **and** the Heartbreakers  
Bill Haley **and** His Comets  
KC **and** the Sunshine Band  
and many more to a version with **&** instead of **and**?

Also, messing some more with the settings, it traspires that there is an "only as whole word" checkbox that I missed which also does the required. Thank you for your help dude!

Indeed I do. As great as they were, there is a distinct lack of KC and the Sunshine band in my library.
