# Replace dot in title

Hi,

I cant find the answer of this problem.

In title, filename and artist there is no space at all, only dots.

For example:  
Michael.Jackson - Billie.Jean

I want to have this:  
Michael Jackson - Billie Jean

But i cannot figure it out.  
If I do the 'replace action', the whole title disappears...

If i do replace action:  
Field: Title  
regular expression: .  
replace with: !

I will get Michael.Jackson - !!!!!!!!!

I don't know how to resolve this problem. Hope someone can!

That's a 'Replace with regular expression' action. You want to use the much simpler 'Replace' action. A period ("dot") in a regular expression matches everything. In a normal replace it only matches a period.
