I have a 3,000 song DJ Series with only title and artist tags.
I have a corresponding spreadsheet of all the genres and years.
The Disc Track sort in MP3tag matches perfectly to the spreadsheet.
Is it possible to import the column data from the spreadsheet to a MP3tag field column?

See the docs on Converter\>Text file-Tag:

> **[Import Tags from Text Files – Mp3tag Documentation](https://docs.mp3tag.de/converters/import-tags-from-text-files/)**

> Documentation on Text File to Tag, a converter to import tags from text files. Mp3tag is the universal Tag Editor.

NOTE: the "Format Strings and Placeholders" doc page does not include the %dummy% string, or information on purpose and use.

It is already mentioned here (in the above linked "Import Tags from Text Files") doc page:

But you are right `%dummy%` is not listed in [Format Strings and Placeholders](https://docs.mp3tag.de/format/).
