# request: forward changes to foobar

wouldnt it be great if you could open mp3tag, fix file names, rename directories, and then go back to foobar and its already updated without rescanning your media library? dont know if this could be implemented, but it would make the best tagger and the best audio player just all that more compatible with each other. ![:music:](https://community.mp3tag.de/uploads/default/original/1X/2ba05d1ade5eb0d15fc173be6f717dbe63890a70.gif ":music:")

This is not possible. But you can select Tagging \> Reload info from file(s) from foobar2000's context menu to avoid rescanning your whole Media Library.
