# REQUEST: Illegal Character Conversion Options

I have an idea for a feature that I would find useful. I often use the Tag-Filename Conversion, which is great, except that when it hits a character that is invalid for the filesystem, it simply deletes it, which causes me some tedious renaming work on the files themselves. Would it be possible to include an option to replace the illegal character with a specific other character? I am basing this suggestion on the way that CDex handles this issue (see attached file).

Ok, that's pretty cool. I will get that in my conversion. I still think it would be good to have as a configurable option a la CDex.
