The thread started 20 years ago. The last update was in 2021

But I don't know what these dates have to do with your problem.  
AFAI understood it: you are looking for a way to get lyrics into the files.  
The linked thread provides such a web source script.

Your [other thread](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/adding-lyrics-automatically-for-a-whole-album/62588) from 3 years ago looked for a way to get lyrics for a whole album. There was and still (2025) is no way in MP3tag to achieve that.  
If you look for lyrics of a single file, then see whether the available web source scripts that are dedicated to find lyrics help you.
