# Sequence issues with the GWM Haval H6

Hello,
First of all, please excuse my English.
Perhaps you can help me out?
Setup:
32 GB USB flash drive
Vehicle: GWM Haval H6
Audiobook with 216 MP3 parts
Problem: It doesn't play the individual parts in the order of their numbering.
Steps I've tried:
Formatted the USB drive to FAT32.
Split the 216 parts into 3 subfolders and used two-digit numbering for the files within the directories.
e.g., 01 Author - AudiobookName.mp3
Then opened Mp3tag.
Navigated to Tools \> Options \> Tags \> Mpeg and selected ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1 for writing; disabled the other options.
The original tag was ID3v2.3 (ID3v2.3).
Selected all files.
Used the Converter menu \> Tag - Filename \> Format string "$num(%track%,2) %title%" \> converted directly on the USB drive.
Plugged it into the car, but unfortunately, it didn't work.

I am still not sure what did not work.
Are you sure that the file name is the criterion by which the player sorts files?
Or does the player read the tag data?
If so: which tag fields have you filled?
I would suggest that you fill ALBUMARTIST, ARTIST, ALBUM, TITLE and TRACK and then see what the player does.
Another note: I would still write UTF-16 characters as it is not sure that the player uses the same code page as your windows environment.

Do you have any images or list of what the number order currently looks like so we can find a pattern?
If there's 216 MP3 files, you might need to use `$num(%track%,3)` to pad every track, for example your first subfolder going from `001` to `100` in the filenames. Potentially having 3 subfolders could also be messing with the way your car's system reads them.
As @ohrenkino says, ALBUMARTIST etc. could also have an impact on how the files are sorted.

Thanks for your reply.
I’ve done some testing.
I strongly suspect that it uses the title.
The question is how I can adjust just the title ???
If I delete the tag, it doesn't know what to do at all.
The problem persists with UTF-16 (see above).

To modify just the TITLE, try Convert\>Tag-Tag for TITLE
Format string: `$num(%track%,3)_%title%`
Do this only if you find that the player really sorts the files alphabetically by the data in TITLE.
