# Settings for changing .flac and .ogg tags

Hello all. 🙂

I recently purchased an iRiver E100 mp3 player over the holidays, and it has turned out to be a bit of a dud. It doesn't correctly read .flac and .ogg tags, and some of the forums have suggested using mp3tag as a workaround. So, here I am. 🙂

I need to change my tags so that Artist is ARTIST, Album is ALBUM and so forth (you see this when you mouse over a file in explorer and see the tag info). What settings do I need to have in mp3tag to do this? And then how do I do this?

One suggestion was to go to the file in question, select View-\>Extended Tags. Then double click on the ARTIST section, don't change anything, click OK, then OK again. But it doesn't change anything.

Any suggestions?

_Field:_ **\_FIELDNAME**  
_Case conversion:_ **UPPER case**
