# show LAME Encoder settings

There is a mp3 info tag which can be parsed without audio decoding of course.  
[http://gabriel.mp3-tech.org/mp3infotag.html](http://gabriel.mp3-tech.org/mp3infotag.html)  
A tool that reads it:  
[http://phwip.wordpress.com/home/audio/](http://phwip.wordpress.com/home/audio/)

lame.exe also writes information to it.  
foobar2000 reads it, too.
