Hi,
So Long story short, I had to reinstall windows, and when I installed mp3tag, the infamous

_"Provisioning Sparse Package failed_
_D:\Program Files\Mp3tag_
_Mp3tagShell.msix_
_Windows can't provision the package_
_35795FlorianHeidenreich.Mp3tag.ShellExtension\_3.26.2.0\_x64_
_hyhc94k68ebpm because it is not installed on a system_
_volume."_

is back...and therefore no mp3tag in the context menu.
Anyclues ?

Did you search the forum for threads with the tag "installation" - those should help you.
Perhpas you start with this thread:

OK, thanks for checking. This is the error you've already had before, described in the other topic linked from above.

Unfortunately, I still don't know what's causing the issue and had no success so far in replicating it on my test systems.

If the entry in the Explorer context menu is missing for you, you can try manual registration as outlined in the FAQs:

> [@Installation & Backup](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/installation-backup/964/5):
>
> Right-click context menu is missing on Windows 11 Assuming you've already restarted explorer.exe via the right-click context menu in Task Manager (or have rebooted Windows), this is happening sometimes on Windows 11 for reasons which I still trying to find out. What might help in those cases and when the classic context menu is preferred, is to manually register the shell extension from a command prompt with admin rights: cd \<path to Mp3tag installation\> regsvr32 Mp3tagShell.dll

Thanks...will do. ( update : Done...and I have the context menu now. And I installed shell for easier access )
But is it recommended to install it where the system drive is ?

Just an idea ....is it possible that it's not working because of the odd windows 11 context menu ?
