I am going through a directory - a large one, that takes 10-15 minutes to reload.

MP3Tag allows me to quickly find artists, make changes, and I LOVE IT!!!

But... sometimes I'm working, and I accidentally move the scroll wheel. And somehow it tells the app to reload the directory, or load a different directory.

I then have to wait for the entire directory to reload. Is there a way to disable this functionality?

My MP3tag shows a little dialogue box with a progress bar and counter while reading and loading folders. This dialogue also has a Cancel button. If I click on that or press Escape, the reading and loading stops.

Loading a new folder only happens if the focus is on the Directory box in the tag panel. If you do not want to trigger directory changes with that box, you may adapt the tag panel fields and hide the directory element.
