# Suggestion - Indication for long running filter expressions

If the file list is currently empty due to a filter expression, then you enter another filter expression which also results in no matches, you have no way of telling when the filtering has finished. This can become an issue when you're working with complex filter expressions combined with a large file lists, which can result in a wait of many seconds before the file list is updated. So you just have to sit there and guess when the filter has done it's work.
My suggestion is for the "Ready" in the bottom left corner of the window to change to "Working..." while the filtering is in progress, then change back to "Ready" when it is finished.
