# Suggestion: macros

It has been raised several times in connection with a specific task. It would be really a nice option to use macros, to mimic every possible manual operation: for example, to execute an Action Group on a selected file(s), then select all files, and execute another. And so on...

(Or, in another form: allow to modify the selection inside the Action Group.)

_My actual task: i created some hundreds new, modified files. In every case, in the file i want to change tracknumber (= old tracktotal+1), tracktotal, filename, comment; then i want to select all files (the full album) and change tracktotal, too._
