# Suggestion: Option: Preserve File Date/Time

I would like to have such an option in the "Allgemein" - i think "general" options (i'm a German User)

I prefer an origin timestamp at some of my files, especially music-files because usually I like to sort these files at my USB-stick in the same order i got them from CDs or from web.  
Some files i got do'nt have any tag's and in this case my car-radio cannot show the filename, only a number according to subdirectory order.

It is toilsome to recreate the timestamp with other tools (MS-DOS) after changing a file.

I would like to see this feature in some of the next versions of the useful Mp3tag-Program.

This option already exists in File \> Options \> Tags.
