# Suggestion ref not deleting temp data

Hi I use MP3tag regularly but one thing is very frustrating.

I usually produce a series of mp3 files, which will apart from a small variation in title and date are the same as the previous weeks. I try to copy and paste section from last weeks to this weeks and when I input it into the field and i click to get the data for the next field, when I go back the original data I have input is gone ☹

The only way round it is to save the file everytime I switch between old and new in the list which is a pain

I use Easytag on my Linux machine which allows me to input data and switch back an forward between files and the data remains there I finally hit save at the end which saves me a lot of time and frustration
