# Suggestion: relaunch not to sort playlist

If I load a playlist, exit and launch, Mp3tag reloads the playlist - great - but loses its order. It sorts by whatever column order was selected. The same if the reload is of a manually ordered list.

It would be good if the file list order was preserved.

Perhaps the root problem is in fact that loading a playlist or reordering doesn't clear the colum sort selection (indicated by a heading arrow). I'd prefer it if any operation that deordered the list cleared the sort selection.

I think this won't be changed in the near future. If you want to keep your custom order of the files, just create a playlist that reflects and saves this order.

I'm a bit surprised that the playlist case is not an easy fix, but OK! Thanks for considering it!
