# Tag based on folder information

If you removed the dots from the venue it is rather simple:

Make a [new action](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/967/1)

_Action type:_ **Guess values**  
_Source format:_ **%\_directory%**  
_Guessing pattern:_ **%date%.%dummy%.%venue%.%dummy%**

Or Convert \> filename - tag  
Format string: %date%.%dummy%.%venue%.%dummy%\%dummy%
