# tag from folder name?

first up, this is a great program - really useful.
guys, i tried searching the forums but i just can't seem to make it work.
i have some mp3s like this:
c:\foldername\artist - track.mp3
and i'd like to use "foldername" as the album tag, artist in the artist tag, and then track in the track title tag. does anyone have any advice for doing this? i think i need to use actions, but i can't figure it out!!!!!!!!!!! 😳😳

Use the  Filename-Tag Converter (ALT+2) with **%album%\%artist% - %track%** as Formatstring.
Edit: Doh, sorry for the German text. I didn't have my coffee yet. 😛

Hi all,
I have tried the above, but when i press alt-2 and get into that "filename-tage parsing window, i can't press the OK button because it is grayed out!!! is this normal? what am i doing wrong? i want to automaticly change the tags of all files in a folder, is this feasable? if yes then how?

You're probably using a format string which doesn't match the filenames' structure.
