After I use masstagger in Foobar 0.8.3 to fix any tags (ID3v2) in an MP3 file and then read the file with MP3tag v2.26 that file has no tags. I checked the tags in Winamp and a few other shareware progs and everything seems ok. What could be causing this problem between foobar and MP3tag?

For me this was solved by checking "Always write ISO-8859-1 tags instead of UTF-16" in the "ID3V2 support" section in the foobar2000 preferences.
