# Tagging Artist & Album from relative path

Hi, new here but using MP3Tag for several versions (now using v 2.39) and it beats all others I've tried.

Can someone please help me? (using simple language 🙂 )

I want to set album and artist tags quickly by the relative path of the files being tagged.  
When I'm tagging, I've already named the current folder by the album name, and its always located in a folder which has the artist name.

Example  
If I'm tagging files located in  
C:\StuffToTag\The Beatles\Let It Be  
I want to capture %album% from name of folder containing current file(s), and  
%artist% from the name of the parent of that folder.

I'd also like to store this as an Action

I've read the help, and I'm fairly sure the ability is there.  
I just can't figure it out.

_Guessing pattern:_ **%artist%\%album%**
