Tagging formats like in Discogs

Sometimes I have digital audio coming from different sources, like ripped vinyl, tape>harddisc transfers etc. Now I would like to use a tag to identify every audioset so I can easily recognize this in for example JRiver Media.

Discogs has a format list here: https://www.discogs.com/help/formatslist
These (some of them) would be the values that I would like to use while tagging. Preferablly in some sort of dropdownmenu system.

What would be the best way to fix this, and which tag should I use it so it is recognized by Jriver?

Hi I am currently adding tags to a lot of Latin America audio tracks. In the tag panel I have added fields such as MOOD, COMPOSER, etc.. Which fields does JRiver show?
If you want a player that allows to display any set of fields, use Foobar2000.
