### How to remove single tag fields?

Select all files you want to edit and set the input fields you want to remove to `< blank >`. All other fields should read `< keep >` so that they remain unchanged.

File \> ![:mt_save:](https://community.mp3tag.de/uploads/default/original/1X/9a524114a0a7cfb94ed95e08e42778afb83a895f.png ":mt\_save:") Save tag or Ctrl+S strips all fields with the property `< blank >` from the tag.

For extended tag fields, use the extended tag dialog at View \> ![:mt_tag:](https://community.mp3tag.de/uploads/default/original/1X/e7edc735a96d8d241c37593e98667ab3dc20c6b6.png ":mt\_tag:") Extended Tags... or Alt+T.
