# Tags don't transfer when burning

question, when I burn a CD with my song the TAGS do not transfer? what am I doing wrong.

What kind of a cd are you burning? If you burn a genuine audio cd then the files get transformed into pcm files (which resemble wav files) and they do not have tags.

To keep mp3 files as they are, you have to burn a data cd with mp3s on it.

Also, you should check with MP3tag if the files showed any tags prior to burning. It could be that all the tag information is in the player database...
