Hi there
Not sure if the issues you were referring to include this, but anyway:
I was running mp3tag on my previous w7 machine no problems, but after migrating to a windows10 machine, the tags to not appear in any of my mp3 files in the editor. I thought they might not have copied over with the directory (new laptop also), but then I tried ftping them from their repository, and the tags still do not display.

CHeck which tag versions you read and which are present in the files.
See File\>Options\>Tags\>Mpeg for that. It could for instance be that you have written APE tags but you do not read them any more.
