# Tags truncated?

I wonder if there is a length limit on tags?  
If I have a long artistname, it is truncated by mp3tag to a shorter string length, so part of the original tag is missing.

Is this an error or a limitation in mp3tag? If it is possible to extend, I hope it can be changed in a future version.

ID3v1 tags are limited to 30 characters. Try ID3v2 tags which do not have this limitation.
