Hello,

Using Text File - Tag: is there a way for Mp3tag to realize a precheck before effectively updating the tags? - i.e. to check that it is the right mp3 file which will be tagged?

I personnaly store a unique Id. for each mp3 in the %COMMENT SONGS-DB_CUSTOM3% tag. (e.g. CD 0028 09)

In this case, the beginning of each line of the txt file would start with this Id.

The conjunction between one line in the text file and one file in the Mp3tag file list is the content of the _PATH pseudo tag field.
