# Too long list

Folder structure:

Artist or in some cases name of the collection album series (like hard dance mania)  
-Album

I just would like to take that artist -foldername and list those once. Now I have loop like

$loop(%\_parent\_directory%)  
%\_parent\_directory%  
$loopend()

But it makes as many entries as there are mp3:s on that folder, so how I can get just one entry per artist folder...

You can write something like this:  
$loop(%\_parent\_directory%,1)%\_parent\_directory%  
$loopend()

... or this:  
$loop(%artist%,1)%artist%  
$loopend()
