# Track title field vs special characters

Forgive a dumb question, but is there any reason why I cannot name a track \\\\\ from within mp3tag? It works under winamp, it works with single '' but multiple backslashes just revert to emptiness. And yeah, music titled \\\\\ is that f\*\*\*ed up.

Two sequent backlashes are used to create and display tag fields with multiple values in Mp3tag.
I.e. when you set Title to a\\b you get two title fields.

Thx for a quick reply. Now that I know the reason of this behaviour, is there a way to get around it for the single track in the history of music that is actually titled like that? Don't get me wrong, I'm not requesting a total reimplementation of how the program works, but for example \*nix shell has a mechanism to cope with typing reserved characters.

Looks almost the same.
