transfer tags from one file to another

So, I'm completely new to mp3tags, and I'm not exactly a computer aficionado.

My predicament is this:

I have a huge jazz collection on my computer, fully labelled with all of the relevant tags and what not, and I want to transfer it to my new iPod video.

I used a software to convert the .flac files to .mp3, but the tags didn't transfer.

I downloaded mp3tags at the behest of my friend, but I have no idea how to use it.

QUESTION:
If I import all of the .flac files with the relevant tags, and import all of the converted .mp3 files without the tags, how do I transfer the tags from each .flac file to the corresponding .mp3 file?
