I can see two identical items «Audiobook» in a drop-down list of genres of version 3.00. I used this item in a previous version 2.83 but there was only one. The second item apperared after updating to version 3.00. How can I remove an extra item from the list?

Check File\>Options\>Genres if you have a user-defined genre called Audiobook.
There you can delete it.

It's right! It seems I added this genre as a user-defined once upon a time in some previous version that didn't have a built-in one, and then forgot about it. Thanks for the hint.
