An unusual problem has just arose. I'm using MP3tag v.3.36.1. From the most recent update I now find that when double-click on any track, I cannot preview it. In previous versions this was always possible.

I am able to preview any music track in any other music software. MP3tag is the only software opened. So there should be no conflicts. I have checked permission levels and even restarted, uninstalled, reinstalled the software without any success.
Is this a bug i the software or a problem. Any advice, assistance would be appreciated with advanced thanks

To me it looks like an access rights problem. And that is usually a problem in the local environment.
Make sure that MP3tag is installed with the same user id as the files that you call and that the player can also be called by MP3tag.
What kind of an installation is it? A standard one or a local one?
(And: in the meantime your version is not the most up-to-date anymore)

Yup. Thank you your right. A bit of a face palm slap moment. I must be getting too old. Ten years ago that solution would have been obvious. All is well.
