Actions \> Format Value \> (add text to TITLE) \> %title% (text, e.g. Live At Jane's House)

If the (text) contains a single apostrophe, you get a [SYNTAX ERROR]. If two apostrophes, they are removed.

Same behavior in Convert: Tag - Tag.

What is the correct way to do this? Thanks.

replace a single apostrophe with 2:

This is also explained in the help on [scripting](https://docs.mp3tag.de/scripting):

`'` Outputs raw text without parsing. This will output the contained string and ignore all reserved characters. If you want to output this character, please use `''`.
