# Update cover art

Hello --- I want to update / change the cover art of a number of tracks --- they already have an image save in the file, so do I have to save the file after I delete the art before adding the new image?

No. You can right click on the cover area in the Tag Panel and click on "Remove cover" and immediately add a new cover (drag & drop for example or "Add cover").

The previous cover will be deleted and then the new one saved in the same saving step (Ctrl +S or File -\> Save Tag)

Well heck, I never knew this. I always Remove, then Save, then Add, then Save.
