# Update WSF help on UserAgent

Not so much an app bug but something that's missing from the help pages.
`UserAgent` was added in 2011 but I'm sort of confused how it works but the WSF help pages don't mention it.
Even from the changelog description, I don't really know what it does. Are there only 2 values for this? `0` or `1`?

[2011-05-18] NEW: added new field UserAgent for web sources which enables sending Mp3tag/#.## as user agent if set to 1.

Fixed and added. And yes, if set to 1, Mp3tag uses its name and version number as user agent, e.g., `Mp3tag/3.04`.

Thanks. And if it's `0` then it's the same as having no `[useragent]` at all?

Yes, it then uses an intentionally undocumented generic user agent.
