# User Defined Genres

I see there has been a change in MP3tag for adding User Defined Genres. However I am unable to see how to do this.

Can anyone help?

Yes, please see [Consolidated User-defined Genres into Custom List Values](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/mp3tag-v3-20-released/60552#consolidated-user-defined-genres-into-custom-list-values-4) from the v3.20 release notes topic.

It's available via **Options → Tag Panel → Genre → Custom list values → Manage...**
