Title says it all.

I have seen the post on locating the directory of the file by creating the user defined tool. That's perfect and I got that to work.

However, I want see if it is possible to take it one step further. The functionality I am looking for is to find the directory and then right click on that file to open the properties window.

Anything on this topic will help.
Thanks

If you find the command line parameter for the windows file explorer to show this properties you can add it your existing tool definition.

Unfortunately, AFAIK there is no such [parameter](https://www.geoffchappell.com/studies/windows/shell/explorer/cmdline.htm).
