I am at the current version 3.19, and actually find the performance is noticeably faster than the previous versions. Especially loading with the library turned on, I can be up and running with all 25k songs in just a few seconds. And no lag when selecting individual files.

You say that the Mp3tag version 3.19 at the time was excellent with 25k songs, the performances are significantly faster than those of the previous versions.

I imagine that there would be no difference in speed between version 3.19 and today's version 3.28

How many files are you accessing? And how long is long?

I wonder, do you think that the power of the computer can help to get the data faster, or does it not change anything?
