# View/sort by year

Hey y'all

i'm have my tag setup to sort by year and when i filter by a a certin year other yers appear within that year. doe nyone know why this is happening? i'm using 2.12D beta an i have a screenshot. Thanks

Select one of the songs with the wrong year (I.e. Home by Brown & Gray) and go to the enhanced tag screen. See if there are two or more Year fields.

You did not filter for the content "1970" in the year field but for this content in any tag-field. You probably have this content in one of your other tag-fields, i.e. COMMENT, COPYRIGHT, UNSYNCEDLYRIS too.  
Set the filter to look only for the year-field:  
`year HAS 1970`
