# Visualize name of the album

Hi guys,
i would visualize name of the album in my winamp list...
to make this i must rename the title song together title album. example:
Metallica - Load - 01.Ronnie
song: **Load -** 01.Ronnie
album:Load
Band:Metallica
can i do this in automatic for all song?

the data for the song is stored in the tag %title%, the information for the album in the tag %album%.
So you have to copy the contents of %album% in front of %title%.
To do this create an action (press alt-5, then the "new" button, enter a sensible name) of the type
"Format tag field"
as field select Title
as format string enter:
%album% - %title%
Try this action first with a single track to check whether the result is satisfying.
If so, select all tracks that should be treated like this and execute the action.

i want to know how to do the opposite..hence to delete Album Title in front of title song..just exactly the contrary.

do you want to simply delete it or move it to another field?
If you simply want to delete it, then I would suggest an action of the type
Replace with regular expression.
I hope that you have a unique separator between the album and the rest. If your example is still valid it looks like that would be the hyphen.
So let's give it a try:
Load - 01.Ronnie
Enter as Search field "Title"
Enter as Search String:
^.\* - (.\*)
Enter as replace string:
$1
It should lead to a title "01.Ronnie".
If you replace the " -" with a "." then the result would be: "Ronnie".
If you want to recycle the album name then we have to think of something else.
