Gang,

I would like to create an action that fills certain info into the comment field. The info I want to format is in 2 lines. Keying this in manually is simple, but I'd like to create an action to perform it automatically as I have to change these comments to a specific verbiage 99% of the time. I do not know how to add an enter command into a string (trying to create the action... Format Value/Comment/Line One ENTER Line Two). Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!!!
Lee

Ex : John Coltrane — tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone McCoy Tyner — piano Jimmy Garrison — bass Elvin Jones — drums with the returns (new lines) I tried to create a new field "Comment\_add" but it's very difficult to merge the "Comment\_add" with the "Comment". So my question is : how can I put the…

Try an action of the type "Format value" for COMMENT
Format string: Line1$char(13)$char(10)Line2

In a regular expression, use `\r\n`

Thanks for the reply, LyricsLover. Yeah, this thread seems to only reference the comment field itself which I have altered properly to allow for multiple lines several years ago. Now, I'm simply looking for a way to program these specific comments automatically with an 'action'. Thanks though.
