# Want to populate Album Artist field

When I start working with a new MP3 file, it has no internal tags. I name the files using the convention of Artist - SongTitle.mp3. I use the Menu choice of Filename - Tag to obtain the tags from the filename. However, when I perform this function, the Album Artist field is not populated. I would like this field to be populated with the same content in the Artist field. How can I get this to occur?

Instead of the Filename - Tag converter, use an Action Group comprised of the following 2 actions.

Action 1

Action 2

Many people edit the metadata first and then use that information to rename their files.  
Of course, you can do the opposite if you want.
