This is not correct.
There is a section for MPEG and a section for Ape, Mpc in the options.
The settings in MPEG apply to MP3 files (which are no Wavpack files) and have no influence on the settings in Ape, Mpc.
To see tag data in MPx files, use the section in MPEG, for Wavpack use the settings in Ape, Mpc - there are independent from each other.
It remains true what @MotleyG has written in your other thread
