# What %tag% can I use to apply the "Date Taken" field (for a photo)?

This would be tremendously helpful to me if I knew what %tag\_or\_command% to use to get the program to recognize the value within the "Date Taken" field of a photo file.

I'd like to know how to get a date & time stamp from that field, similar to %\_file\_mod\_datetime% or %\_file\_create\_datetime%.

Thanks so much for any help.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found how to do this with Bulk Rename Utility.

Thanks anyways & many thanks to the creators of this convenient program. It's helping me a lot.

Upt to release 2.86 there is no function in MP3tag to manipulate or manage pictures and/or their properties.  
You would have to resort to an external program for that (as you did).
