# What's the best way of including a comment in an Action Group?

Tag format dummy tag field?

I've just tried it, but it does not work as expected, because Mp3tag creates a tag field named DUMMY.

I'd rather a solution that didn't touch the track file. Else one that doesn't leave dirt / require cleanup.

_Actiontype 5:_ **Format tag field**
_Field:_ **DUMMY**
_Formatstring:_ **$regexp('This÷is÷a÷comment','.\*',)**
_Note: Replace one special ÷ character with one space character._

I don't understand

so I skipped that... and it worked.
Important note through: this is only 100% safe if there is no tag DUMMY.
I reduced this solution a bit further:
and actually instead of DUMMY I will use REM to clarify the intent.

Oh, I discover that my reduction suffers from the limitation imposed by the dialgo box denying any illegal regexps e.g. \*\*\*.
But REPLACE REM -\> "" seems to work well. Anyone see any snags with that?

_Actiontype 2:_ **Replace**
_Field:_ **÷**
_Original:_ **This÷is÷a÷comment.**
_Replace with:_
[\_] Only as whole word[\_] Case sensitive comparison
_Note: Replace one special ÷ character with one space character._
... seems to work as a comment vehicle within an actiongroup.
You can use any name for the tag field which is not an indispensable tag field name.
_Note: Replace one special ÷ character with one space character._
My action and converter converters use this special replacement and annotation as a work around regarding poorly legible space characters here in the forum messages.

Hmm, on the contrary to what I have said before, my "ConverterDialogToBBCode" converter, written in WinBatch scripting language, has no annotation included regarding poorly legible space characters, and no, the WB script is not avalaible for the public.
