# Which tool to import/export with other containers such as mkv, webm, avi, etc.

Hi,

mp3tag is a great tool.  
Now I wish to find a similar tool for video files, able to handle containers that aren't supported by mp3tag such as mkv, avi, mov, webm.

Thanks for your recommandations.

Some of the containers you mentioned do not support any metadata at all (avi, mov). So you will not find any tools for that unless they feature a separate, local, proprietary database.
