I've been using mp3tag for a week or 3 now and I like it, it's the best tool available especially if you have a lot of music like me. I use the filename to tag a lot, but I have to change the format a lot which doesn't bother me, but I frequently get too much whitespace around track numbers for example because people forget to space the filename correctly in some numbers. I would like to see a checkbox to enable the regex (I assume that's what it uses) to ignore whitespace characters, that would make it perfect for me.

And kudos for making this program, I like it.

PS: I'm sorry if this was posted before, but I couldn't find it in the search
