New to Mp3Tag so I apologize if this issue has been resolved or is not an mp3tag issue. I have thousands of mp3 files stored locally and all metadata displays correctly. I downloaded new mp3s and tried using the latest ver of mp3tag to enter the tag info. When I open the files with mp3tag, I can edit the tags and save the files, but new tag info does not show in Win 11 explorer. Any ideas?

Okay so I'm no tech nerd so I apologise if anything I say makes no sense or uses the wrong terms. I downloaded a few songs from [YouTube to Mp3 Converter](https://ytmp3.cc/uu9cc/). I edited all the songs with the tags and album covers I wanted. However doing this prevented my computer (windows groove music - the default music app for windows I think) from playing th…

... and it would be nice if you could test suspicious files first with the suggested tools:

Symptoms of erroneous files are often missing or wrong bitrate or length audible blips or skips tags seem to be sticky and cannot be removed There are some really good tools to check the files for errors, namely MP3 Diags — identifies many different issues in MP3 files Website: [http://mp3diags.sourceforge.net](http://mp3diags.sourceforge.net) Download: [MP3 Diags - Getting MP3 Diags](http://mp3diags.sourceforge.net/010_getting_the_program.html#binWindows) If the font size in MP3 Diags is …
