# WMP songs to mp3

How can I transfer Windows Media and data (songs) player to mp3 player?

Are these WMA or WMV files?  
And do you want to copy them to an MP3 player? Then this is a task for the WIndows Explorer.  
If the files have to get converted to MP3 then you need a suitable converter.  
Depending on the features of the converter the metadata will be kept.

You may need to convert to mp3. There are many free easy converters, google'll find a lot.

Mediapuge can convert whole directories at once

Don't forget to setup ffmpeg on configuration -\> decoder/encoder settings.
